Celebrate the crisp autumn season in St. Michaels as the 15th annual Fall Into St. Michaels Festival returns to Maryland’s scenic Eastern Shore. On the weekend of October 27th, 28th and 29th, the town of St. Michaels will come alive with a host of seasonal events for adults and children alike. Scheduled events include a 5K Run/Walk, Costume Parade, Hot Rod Car Show, Great Pumpkin Party, Ghost Tours, Jack Russell Terrier Races, and an Old Fashioned Auction. 

The Great Pumpkin Party will feature the much anticipated Pumpkin Carving Contest, where artisans turn 100-pound pumpkins into beautiful, yet often scary, works of art. Young, budding artists are encouraged to participate as well, only with paint instead of scalpels! Taste award-winning Pumpkin Pies from the local contest, and have some apple cider while strolling down the historic streets of St. Michaels.

Friday October 28

• Ghost Tours: 8pm & 9pm, meet at Visitors Center, $10 per person

Saturday October 28

• St. Michaels H.S. Sports Boosters 5K Run/Walk: 9am

  Great Pumpkin Party: 9am - 1pm

  Adults Pumpkin Carving: 9am - 1pm / 1-2pm judging / 2pm-7pm viewing

  Children Paint Pumpkins: 10am -1pm

  Pumpkin Pie Contest: 9am - 10:30am judging / 10:30 - 1pm consumption / viewing until 7pm

  Costume Parade: 1pm Talbot Street: Pre-registration required for prize judging.  Assemble at school parking lot by 12:45 pm.  Free.

  Hot Rod Car Show - Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum

• Ghost Tours: 8pm & 9pm, meet at Visitors Center, $10 per person

Sunday October 29

• Jack Russell Terrier Races (& Dachshund Dash) 9:30am registration, 11am race time: The Inn at Perry Cabin.  Cost $20.  Fore more information, call Flying Fred's 410.745.9601.

• C-Street Fireman's Auction: 3pm, Carpenter Street Saloon
