    • About

This historic inn, just 6/10 mile North of the entrance to the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum on Rt. 33, sits on 8 acres of land and provides elegant guest bedrooms along with the best swimming pool and hot tub complex surrounded by gardens in this area. GBH has hosted weddings poolside in warmer weather and off-season in the garden room. For smaller weddings in warm weather, the inn is an ideal venue for poolside weddings seating up to 70 people without the need for any tent. In the off-season, smaller weddings up to 30 can be accomodated in the Garden Room with the parlor and dining room used for guests and food service. The inn provides complete food service and can arrange for photographers, florists, etc. The wedding party normally provides beverages and the wedding cake.

The inn is also a great choice for the Rehearsal Dinner and pool party and is often used as HQ for the bride or groom's family for larger weddings held at the maritime museum. There is a facility charge based on the number of people and demands for services placed on the inn.
