Higgins Yacht Yard & Marina is a full-service boatyard and marina located on the waterfront harbor in the heart of historic St. Michaels, Maryland. As the oldest continuously operating boatyard in St. Michaels, it has been a part of the town’s working waterfront for generations, carrying on a centuries-old tradition of boatbuilding, craftsmanship, and life on the Chesapeake Bay. Today, it combines that rich maritime history with modern amenities and services, welcoming both local boaters and visitors arriving by water to experience everything St. Michaels has to offer.

Higgins is both a marina and a full-service working boatyard, serving local boat owners, seasonal customers, and visiting cruisers alike. Our team provides marine services including engine service and repairs, routine maintenance, haul-outs and launches, bottom painting, winterization, shrink wrapping, varnish and brightwork, washing and waxing, sailboat rigging, carpentry, and more. With a 30-ton travel lift, heated indoor service and storage facilities, and a dedicated carpentry shop, we are equipped to care for a wide variety of powerboats and sailboats.

Our marina offers more than 50 slips with transient, seasonal, and annual dockage for vessels, along with the amenities boaters need for a comfortable stay.
